Jake Gyllenhaal Pizza
The first collage I made was this one with Jake Gyllenhaal, who is one of my favorite actors. While I was trying to configure him into this collage, I accidentally cut off his left shoulder. To fix it, I rotated him and ended up making him look like he was looking at something. I eventually decided he could be looking at a pizza.

Bette Davis Witch
The second collage I made was the one with the Halloween-esque Bette Davis. I really enjoyed using the different filters on this one. I added some goofy pipe-cleaner spiders for a little extra comedy in this one.
Sticker Book
The third collage I finished was inspired by some stickers I had when I was younger. I specifically remember a few sticker books that I had that looked vaguely similar to this.
Butterfly Eye Map
My fourth collage was a wild one with a lot of texture and color. This one is one of my favorites that I made. I love the map background and how all the odd parts fit together so well.
Binary Code Kiss the Girl
The last collage I finished for this assignment is of Lady Gaga in a rowboat. It was inspired by the "Kiss the Girl" scene in 'The Little Mermaid". I saw a binary code background and it reminded me of the vines of the set we had when I was in "The Little Mermaid" musical. I looked up pictures of female celebrities with red hair to resemble Ariel and found an image of Lady Gaga.

ReplyDeleteThese are fun and display your signature sense of humor. I'm particularly fond of "PIZZA" and the Bette Davis piece. Those feel a lot like the kind of collage you would do in paper. I do like the "Butterfly Eye Map" image, as well, but it seems to be low resolution. Be careful about that. Lady Gaga is a nice image as well, but you didn't trim as tightly around her as you did other cut-and-pasted elements in other images.
