Assignment #3: Cloning
The first cloned image I made was of my bff, Mamelia, who you all know. I just want to point out the fact that in the clone closest to the camera, she looks like a possum. That's it.
The next cloned image I did is of my younger sister, Emma. She was not very good at following directions of how to pose, but I think this image is a good personality pic of her, and I'm just glad she helped me by modeling.
The next clone I did was of my mom. She really wasn't too keen on doing this because her hair was messier than usual, but she did it to help me lol.
The last clone I made is of myself. I'm not really too happy with it(mostly because I couldn't fix the lighting without retaking the pics), but it is what it is lol. Basically, this is how social distancing and online school is making me feel.
This last photo I included is just for fun. It is a picture that my Poppa took of himself back in the day. Even though it's not the best quality, he still managed to make a pretty awesome clone of himself without our tools of the internet. I'm definitely going to recreate this pic of him. We'll see if we can find his old blue suit lol.
I believe it fits. The lighting situation is a real pain so I like that you worked with what you had. We all do know the lady Amelia. my fav is probs the mirror pic because it seemed the most fun to get right maybe.
ReplyDeleteProps to your family for helping you out! mine are all butts and wouldnt do this with me because they hate having their pictures taken. I understand the lighting issue, I struggled with that one as well. I love the one Amelia, I like all the diffrent poses n stuff she did. Good job :)
ReplyDeleteHey Abbie. Please forgive the later-than-planned response to your work. Things have been ever so slightly insane the past week. So, these look good. I'm also impressed that you did four of them when the assignment only called for three. However, again, your images are so small! I think the biggest size I saw was 469p x 625p. As such, the information within each photo is lower resolution and I can't get as close of a look at the hard work you did. As mentioned in class, you may want to reassess how you are getting your images onto your computer. That said, these are all pretty strong compositions and look pretty cleanly composited as far as I can tell, given their small size. I also enjoy your dad's Poppa's photo. It looks like he did it with a double exposure. Always a fun trick.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Given how small these are, I'm bumping down the grade one "minus" (not a full letter) from what it would have earned. I unfortunately can't get a close enough look at them to assess how well everything is aligned before they become pixelated.
